The HSE announced on Friday evening that there was 126 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 683 with the government expecting a 30% increase daily from now on.
There’s 57% of men with coronavirus and 43% of women with the average age being 44.
Meanwhile in the north, there were 9 new confirmed cases today bringing the total in Northern Ireland to 86.
It means that as of Saturday morning, there are now 769 confirmed cases across the island of Ireland.
