HSE appeal for all pubs to stop serving as gardai find people in a pub who claimed they “felt frightened and safer from coronavirus in there”

Both gardai and HSE are appealing to all pubs owners to close their doors once and for all.

A number of gardai and HSE officials inspected a pub in Cork where they were told there was a number of people drinking inside.

When they gained access to the pub, they saw a number of full pints sitting on top of the counter.

When they went further into the pub, they found three men in the cold room with no drinks, Virgin media reports with the full video below:

One of the men said he was:
“Afraid of contracting coronavirus and said that he felt safer in there”.

As hilarious as it sounds and as typically Irish as you can get, the HSE have once again requested people stay away and don’t have any sort of lock-in.

The gardai could lodge an objection to any pub’s licence being renewed should they not abide for the closures.
