Covid-19: United States will reopen its borders to international travellers tomorrow, but only vaccinated travelers who test negative right before boarding will be allowed in

The United States will reopen its borders to international travelers tomorrow.

Only vaccinated passengers who test negative right before boarding will be allowed in however, since vaccines prevent neither infection nor transmission of the virus, and a large percentage of people in hospital are fully vaccinated anyway.

Airlines will also be forced to impose a contact tracing system, so it is unclear how many people will be willing to risk becoming stranded in the United States if they happen to become infected while over there, even while fully vaccinated.
