Up to 1.1m people are living with ‘long Covid’ across Britain, according to a new report.
The paper, published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), says that 674,000 people reported that the condition affects their day-to-day life, with 196,000 out of these saying that their lives are affected ‘markedly.’
So-called ‘long Covid’ is still a yet poorly-understood set of symptoms that appear to persist long after the actual infection is deemed to be ‘cured.’
