Under the Living with Covid guidelines document issued today, up to 200 people will be allowed to attend sporting events at venues with a capacity of 5,000 or over.
The document introduces a five-level restrictions system, 1 being the most relaxed and 5 indicating total lockdown.
Most of the country is now set at Level 2, but Dublin remains at 3 due to a high incidence of Covid-19.
