Taxi drivers are today engaged in a nationwide protest.
It is understood that no fewer than 1,500 drivers are protesting in Dublin alone.
Taxi drivers are claiming to have been ‘overlooked’ during the pandemic, and are asking for a financial aid package from the Government, as demand for taxis has fallen by around 70%, according to union representatives.
