Covid cases are going through the roof but thankfully no sign of restrictions being reintroduced

Thankfully, someone in government must actually be using their head for once, as there are currently no plans to reintroduce draconian restrictions onto the Irish public.

As it stands, covid cases have begun to spiral again with hospitals around the country said to be under immense pressure again. Calls for the reintroduction of masks have been thrown out the window with an expected surge to happen at the start of April, but it should fall off from then.

The vast majority of people got at least double jabbed over the past year and a half since vaccines were introduced into Ireland, but that hasn’t stopped tens of thousands of people contracting covid of the St Patrick’s Day weekend.

Almost 64,000 new cases of coronavirus have been reported since March 17, according to the Health Service Executive (HSE).

According to the organization, there have been 63,954 cases altogether.

Symptoms vary with people. Some get cold-like symptoms while others get bad chests and gastro problems.
