Covid certs and locater forms are no longer required for entry into Ireland from today

The requirement for Covid certificates and passenger locator forms for those entering Ireland ended at midnight.

The removal of the certs is part of the government’s efforts to facilitate the entry of Ukrainian refugees into Ireland, but it covers everyone coming into Ireland. Effectively you’ll no longer have to show any covid cert to get into Ireland.

The order changing the travel rules was signed by Health Secretary Stephen Donnelly into law on Saturday evening.

Over the past week, more than 600 people have arrived in Ireland from Ukraine, most of them women.

You mainly stay with friends or family who already live here. The number of people from Ukraine who entered the country through Dublin Airport last week rose to 1,004.
