Australian authorities have admitted that 46m $50 banknotes have been printed with a typo on them.
The word ‘responsibility’ was incorrectly spelled three times.
The print run happened in October 2018. The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has confirmed that the notes will remain as legal tender, and that the mistake will be corrected in the next run.
