Gardaí in North Dublin have launched an investigation after a man on bicycle robbed a cash box in Santry, on Tuesday.
According to The Irish Daily Mail, the investigation comes after the man robbed the box from a comes from a cash-in-transit worker on Beaumont Road at approximately 2pm Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed that the cyclist who has yet to be found, grabbed the box whilst the transit worker was walking back to his van, before heading in the direction of the Trim Road.
Gardai investigating the incident say a total of €50,000 was in the box at the time of the robbery.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
