British prison authorities have encountered a new and grisly method used to attempt the smuggling of contraband into jail facilities across the UK.
Criminals are now using dead rats to smuggle phones, drugs, and other items.
The issue came to light after officials found dead rats with stitched-up bodies inside prison perimeters. Upon close examination, it became evident that the rats’ insides had been removed, and the bodies stuffed with drugs, mobile phones, SIM cards, and other illegal items.
