Customs officials seize five dogs at Dublin Port

Customs officials have confirmed that a total of five dogs were seized at Dublin Port on Friday.

It is understood the dogs which included four 12 week old Spaniel cross pups and one adult Terrier were seized following two searches on Friday.

Customs officials say the dogs did not have the proper paper work and were subsequently taken into care.

It is understood the dogs are currently being looked after by the DSPCA.
