Daena Walsh was killed last week in Midleton, County Cork, and her brother said that “he couldn’t have asked for a better sister,” reports RTE.
In Ms. Walsh’s hometown of Roundwood, County Wicklow, a requiem mass was celebrated, and then she was cremated.
On August 2, the 27-year-old was declared deceased in her flat on Main Street in Midleton.
Adam Corcoran, 29, her lover, is accused of murder in court. He lives at John Barry House, Connolly Street in Midleton, County Cork, reports RTE.
Her brother Paul stated of her, “She was one in a million” and a really exceptional person.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better Daena. Daena had a golden heart and was as enraged as a brush. I will always hold Daena in the highest regard since she was a stunning sister.
“I will cherish every wonderful memory we created. They will always have a special place in my heart,” reports RTE.
“And remind them what a beautiful and loving and caring Mam you were,” he pledged, adding that he would support her two kids.
“Daena, I love you forever,” he declared, reports RTE.
