According to reports this morning the Dáil will overwhelmingly bill proposing the legalisation of medicinal cannabis in Ireland.
The latest bill, which was submitted by People Before Profit TD Gino Kenny, will provide for a legal regulation of cannabis for medicinal use only in order for patients to receive a legally protected, secure supply that is safe and effective.
It is understood the new bill which has the backing of all major parties in the Dáil, will provide medicinal cannabis to number people with complex medical conditions.
