Undeterred by the inconvenience, he announced that he was going to the hospital to get a cast, but vowed to come back and finish the concert.
And sure enough, after being carted away to a nearby hospital, Grohl did return and performed the rest of the show from a chair.
The singer has earned a well deserved reputation among fans and critics as the “Mr. Nice Guy” of the rock universe.
