Good news for job seekers this morning, as Dublin City University (DCU) has announced plans to create 800 jobs over the next 24 months.
The facility, which currently hosts 30 companies and employs about 300 people, will rebrand the new campus as DCU Alpha.
According to the Executive Director, Ronan Furlong, the rebranded facility will be attractive for companies “That requires physical space and it is not the type of thing that is going to happen in a shiny glass box in Silicon Docs at €60 a square foot,it’s gong to happen somewhere else and the University is set up to do this based on our own capabilities and competences
“The site is set up to do it based on the mix of physical buildings out there, ultimately it’s not being catered for currently in Dublin and that is where our target market is.”
