Delta Airlines once again hit with computer issues

A great number of Delta flights have either been delayed or cancelled today, as the airline’s computer systems malfunction for a second day in a row.

Flight disruption affected routes worldwide, with thousands of passengers grounded as a result.

Delta’s systems were down for a number of hours yesterday after a power outage in Atlanta. Flight schedules resumed a few hours later, but further problems arose today.

Ed Bastian, the airline’s CEO, posted a video apology on the company’s website, and offered refunds and $200 in travel vouchers to people whose flights were canceled or delayed at least three hours.
