Denmark will eventually send Ukrainian refugees back to rebuild Ukraine and will not integrate them into their society

The Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said this week that Ukrainian refugees should not be integrated into Danish society.

The Danish government will, after some time send the refugees back to Ukraine to rebuild their country, Interfax.com reports.

“The refugee status is temporary, so these people will need to return and help rebuild their homeland when the opportunity arises,” the Danish Prime Minister in the parliament.

According to Danish legislation, Ukrainian refugees will be able to stay in Denmark for a maximum of two years, when they can work and get an education. They will also have access to medical services.

Meanwhile, the Irish government is actively campaigning to bring in 200,000 Ukrainian refugees to be permanently resettled in Ireland.

It’s unsure if the majority of Irish voters approve of the Irish government’s refugee plans which some say are being thrust upon a country already in crisis.
