A major fire risk alert has been issued across the country after recent years saw huge gorse fires take hold in various counties around the country.
The beautiful weather brings risks of such fires, especially with the amount of people having barbecues and being out in the countryside more than usual, where social distancing allows it.
Fire departments have warned people not to throw away cigarettes, light unnecessary fires or have unattended BBQ’s, especially in forested areas.
People are advised to share this information with their friends.
