The Department of Health is expected to publish its guidelines for the reopening of schools later this week.
It is understood that the guidelines will published after the Department put the finishing touches to its plan in the past number of days.
Although any details have yet to be released, The Department of Education say they will give clear information to teachers, students, parents and the wider community.
The plan comes as the country continues see a rise in Covid-19 cases.
