Alan Kelly and co. must surely rue the day they came up with the monstrosity that is Irish Water. The wretched utility will soon collapse like a deck of cards, condemning the Government to a very appropriate watery grave.

In anticipation of such momentous time of popular triumph, Right2Water have announced details of Saturday’s mass demonstration in Dublin.

Campaigners are hoping for a turnout in the tens of thousands. The event will kick off at the Spire on O’Connell St.

Right2Water’s Brendan Ogle has confirmed that there would be two rally points – at Heuston and Connolly stations.

After meeting at 2pm, marchers will walk down towards O’Connell Street, where speakers will address the crowd.

Mr. Ogle also said that there will be music and activities for children, stressing that it will be a family-friendly event.
