Iceland will soon be within easy reach for Irish travellers, as airline Wow will begin a direct route to the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik from June 2.
While before such trip might take up to 12 hours via London, you will be able to board an aircraft at Dublin airport and see the land of the elves in less than two and a half hours. That’s less than driving from Dublin to Galway, for instance.
Flights will take to the Icelandic skies all year round on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
