Disgraceful: 426 patients are languishing on trolleys in A&E departments around the country as Simon Harris goes on summer holidays




In what can only be described as utterly disgraceful, a total of 426 patients are languishing on trolleys in A&E departments around the country today.

There’s a total of 81 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick waiting for admission to a hospital bed, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).

There are 42 patients are on trolleys in Cork with 37 in Waterford.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Health Simon Harris is going on his summer holidays today for two months.
