As the country goes to the polls, twelve families are being evicted from a building providing them with emergency accommodation in Dublin.
The families were given seven days’ notice of the event by Dublin City Council. According to the people being evicted, they have nowhere to go.
They have consequently staged a protest outside the building in Mountjoy St. where they were staying, and have said they will need to be ‘forcibly removed’ from the location.
