The Tanaiste, who is almost certain to lose her seat after a disastrous performance in the run up to the election, has today asked people to “think twice” before casting their ballot.
She said “I am asking the people to think twice before they cast their ballot.”
“We have focused relentlessly on one common purpose of trying to restore the country and recovering the country.”
Voting got underway at 7am this morning, and polling stations will remain open until 10pm.
