Gardaí in Arklow have launched an investigation after three thugs were caught on camera destroying a defibrillator in the town.
The disgraceful incident which occurred outside the 7Eleven shop recently has caused outrage in the community after one of the men was seen pulling the valuable device apart on CCTV.
It is understood the Gardaí pursued the three men but were unable to catch them.
The appalling incident comes just weeks after the €2,000 kit was placed on the wall by a first responders charity group.
