A man in his 20s is in hospital today, after sustaining serious injuries during an assault in Dublin on Wednesday evening.
It is understood that the victim was set upon by more than one assailant near Mill Lane, in Millstown, Dublin. A hatchet may have been used in the horrific attack.
No arrests have yet been made.
