Over 100 divers working in relays are continuing the search for missing Barry Davis Ryan, who went missing just off the Baltimore coastline on June 30.

Mr. Davis, his girlfriend Niamh O’Connor, and Mr. Davis’ father were swept out to sea while walking along the coast, near the Beacon. A freak wave swept Ms. O’Connor into the water, and the two men entered the sea to try and rescue her.

The bodies of Ms. O’Connor and Mr. Davis’s father were recovered a short time later. Mr. Davis is still missing.

There has been been an overwhelming show of support from divers all over Ireland, who have gathered in the area to search for the missing man.
