Country music superstar Dolly Parton has announced the launch of a new rollercoaster at Dollywood theme park.
According to the Metro, the 76-year-old singer opened the amusement park in Tennessee in 1986, and it has grown into a world-class attraction. The new rollercoaster will be called The Big Bear Mountain and is expected to kick off in 2023 at a cost of $25 million.
Planners have designed the ride so that it includes 3,990 ft of track with “three separate launches, multiple airtime hills, high-speed carousel turns, and tunnels, including a pass behind a waterfall.”
The president of Dollywood, Eugene Naughton has said that the new ride will be “family friendly” and “comfortable fun”.
