Donald Trump beats Barack Obama to be named America’s most admired man in Gallup poll

A new Gallup poll has seen Barack Obama dethroned as Americans most the admired man as the survey finds President Trump the most looked up to role model for US citizens of all ages.

President Trump beat out the former President as well as Joe Biden, Dr Anthony Fauci and Pope Francis in the historic Gallup poll to be named the most admired man among Americans in 2020.

The Gallup poll found 18 percent of Americans named President Trump as their most-admired man while 15 percent of Americans picked Obama, while just six percent chose Biden, who supposedly attained more votes than any candidate in US history as three percent revealed their admiration for Dr Fauci.

Others named as admired individuals include Pope Francis as two percent who was followed by Elon Musk, Bernie Sanders, Bill Gates, LeBron James and the Dalai Lama with 11 percent of Americans naming a relative or friend as most admired.
