A spokesman for 10 Downing St has confirmed that the DUP are said to be ‘happy’ with the outline of a deal proposed to them by Theresa May.
The British Prime Minister had to scramble for cover by immediately running to the northern Irish Democratic Unionist Party to seek a deal which would not only keep the conservatives in government, but indeed keep her as Prime Minister and head of the party.
The head of the DUP, Arlene Foster is said to have laid down certain demands that she would have to see being met before signing on the dotted line and doing business with the Tory’s.
The deal is said to be one on a “confidence and supply” basis.
