The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has said that the Government is taking the sensible approach to reopening indoor hospitality.
Speaking in the Dail this afternoon, said the approach is a sensible and a balanced approach that will allow people to return to work safely.
Donnelly went on to say that it is about trusting people to the right thing and that was an act of solidarity.
The Health Minister said that it isn’t possible to reopen the sector to everyone at this present time and there were only two options available.
He added we either keep indoor hospitality closed until a significant proportion of the population is vaccinated or we reopen to those who have been fully vaccinated and have recovered from Covid-19.
