Donnelly suggests mandatory mask-wearing could be reintroduced in Ireland

Everyone, and I mean literally everyone I know, hates wearing face masks. They’re either uncomfortable, seen as useless or even a hindrance to try and remember them in the first place.

We all thought they were a thing of the past, however it now it seems that they could be making a very unwelcome return.

According to the Irish Independent, the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly suggested mandatory mask-wearing could be reintroduced in Ireland on public transport and in retail as Ireland struggles with a summer wave of Covid-19.

It’s understood that Donnelly didn’t rule out the reintroduction of the mask mandate, which got binned back in February.
