The Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has said that the Government will continue to provide tax cuts as long as the economy continues to grow.
Speaking before the Dáil, Donohoe said he stands by his previous pledge to cut taxes for low income earners.
Although the Minister for Finance acknowledged concerns of potential losses, he said that the Government is determined to reduce taxes over the next five years.
He added that plans are already being made ahead of next year’s Budget, but any potential cuts solely depended on the outcome of talks with Fianna Fáil.
