Donohue: “There’s no decision made yet” as to whether or not the €350 coronavirus payments will be extended

If you’re receiving the €350 covid-19 payment, you may or may not continue to do so depending on whether the caretaker government decides to continue it or not.

As of now, the Minister for Finance Paschal Donohue has said that ‘there’s no decision yet’ as to whether or not the Covid-19 emergency payments will be extended.

The current deadline for the payment, which is being issued to over 500,000 people, is June 8.

The minister attempted to elicit concern by saying that the payment is ‘costing hundreds of millions of euro per week,’ but recently admitted that government ministers will definitely not take a pay cut during the crisis.
