The easing of lockdown measures begins officially on Monday but the question now is, will they continue to be unwound?
Caretaker Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that the upcoming easing of lockdown restrictions is ‘provisional and reversible.’
The comments come a short time after Mr. Varadkar confirmed that Ireland is moving on to ‘Phase 1’ of lockdown easing on Monday.
A total of 1,518 people have died from Covid-19-related causes in Ireland so far, with almost 24,000 confirmed cases.
