“Don’t even think about it” – Varadkar says foreign holidays are out for Irish people this summer

Leo Varadkar said that he misses his sister in London and is missing his lavish holidays in the Mediterranean, but that he and the rest of the Irish citizens will not be going on foreign holidays this summer.

Staycations look possible from June onwards but as for some foreign sun, well it looks next to impossible for 2021.

Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that it’s ‘too soon’ for Irish people to go on foreign holidays this summer.

The Tanaiste has urged people not to book flights away.

He added that ‘he’ll make the case for travel when safe to do so.’
