Don’t look back in anger: Oasis fans angered and frustrated after ‘nightmare’ of securing tickets

Enthusiasts of Oasis who are desperate to see the band perform live again in 2025 have voiced their “nightmare,” “frustration and anger” at not getting tickets, reports Breaking News.

On Saturday, general tickets for the band’s return tour went on sale at 8 a.m. in Ireland and 9 a.m. in the UK.

Fans who were unable to get tickets to watch Noel and Liam Gallagher play together on stage again, either to being booted out of the queue or told they were considered bots, took to Ticketmaster to voice their outrage, reports Breaking News.

Scott McLean, 28, a long-time admirer, sought to get tickets to see Oasis in Dublin the following year.

Before Irish sales opened at 8 a.m. on Saturday, the data analyst from Belfast signed onto his account on the ticket-selling website at 7.30 a.m.

After waiting in queue of 20,000 people for around thirty minutes, he chose four tickets to the band’s performance at Croke Park, reports Breaking News.

But when he attempted to complete the transaction, his browser started to buffer for thirty minutes, so he decided to ask for help via the Ticketmaster customer support account on X, which was originally Twitter.

“It fully threw me out after I did what they said and deleted my browser’s cache and cookies. I followed their instructions, and it just showed up on that error page,” he told the PA news agency, reports Breaking News.

A “nightmare” was the experience George Buka, 35, of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, had trying to get Oasis tickets in the UK, as he put it on Ticketmaster.

“It’s been an absolute nightmare of an experience. I’ve been doing it since 8am this morning, you have to queue in order to join the queue, you can’t log in,” he told PA, reports Breaking News.
