Drogheda Co Louth being considered for national ‘Slurry Plant’ which would see an additional 10,000 truck loads per year

Arguably the biggest town in Ireland, Drogheda County Louth will see even more congestion to its already jammed traffic if a new slurry plant gets the go ahead.

According to local paper, ‘The Drogheda Leader’, Drogheda is one of six towns being considered to become a new national Slurry Plant.

If the plant gets the go ahead then the town will see an additional 10,000 truck loads of slurry being brought into the town, something that will no doubt see uproar from locals.
