Gardaí in Limerick seized €140,000 worth of drugs following a search operation in the St Mary’s Park area of Limerick on Wednesday evening, reports Breaking News.
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí attached to the Limerick Division’s Drugs Unit carried out a search operation in an open rubbish tip in the St Mary’s Park area on Wednesday at 19:00, reports Breaking News.
During the search, 1 kg of suspected heroin with an estimated value of 137,000 euros and suspected cocaine with an estimated value of 4,000 euros were seized. A large amount of suspected blending agent was also found hidden in the area.
All items were seized and analyzed by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
Gardai said no arrests had been made at present and an investigation was ongoing, reports Breaking News.
