Dublin Airport’s 42-acre car park will reopen on March 10 next year after being out of use since 2020, reports RTE.
The facility, which has more than 6,100 spaces, is managed by APCOA, Europe’s largest parking company, and operates under the ‘Park2Travel’ brand.
The newly opened site is 1.5km from the airport terminal and is connected by a frequent free shuttle bus, reports RTE.
Neil Cunningham, Managing Director of APCOA Ireland, said the reopened car park will increase the supply of parking spaces to meet the growing demand at Dublin Airport and provide customers with a reliable and convenient parking experience.
APCOA operates car parks at several airports, including Berlin Brandenburg, Düsseldorf and Stuttgart in Germany, Milan Bergamo, Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate in Italy, several airports in Norway managed by Avinor, and London Heathrow, Aberdeen, Southampton and Luton in the UK, reports RTE.
