Dublin Airport says queues aren’t too bad and that things are running smoothly enough

Dublin Airport Authority are saying that the changes that they implemented are working quite smoothly and that queues aren’t too long.

It’s estimated that up to 100,000 people a day will travel through the airport in the months of June, July and August.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has said that the government will throw everything at Dublin Airport to solve the queueing problems.

Marquees have been setup outside the terminals for those who have to queue.

Scenes that made Ireland the laughing stock of Europe yet again went viral on social media as queues of up to 1km saw people waiting hours on end and missing their flights in the process.

Ryan says that if the new measures don’t work that the government will do more.
