There is widespread concern in one Dublin community as a local primary school have issued a notice warning parents that one of the country’s most dangerous paedophiles has moved into their community.
According to local reports parents of Children attending Scoil Chronain in Rathcoole have received a letter written by the schools principal informing them about the highly dangerous sexual predator living in the area.
The individual is apparently living near a the school after he was relocated to the Dublin suburb. The informative letter reads: “It has just been brought to my attention that a serious sex offender has moved into Rathcoole village.
“I do not know for certain that this is true and I do not want to cause alarm. “However, I feel it is important to inform you, to ensure your children’s safety. “Be vigilant at all times and make proper arrangements for your child’s supervision and safety. Should I hear anything else I will inform you.”
Meanwhile Rathcoole Boys Football Club have also issued a warning stating that they have received information recently alerting them to the sex offenders known presence in the community.
According to various sources the unnamed man is one of the country’s most dangerous paedophiles: “There are well over 1,000 registered sex offenders in the country and he is near the top. “But gardai are watching him – his movements are being monitored very closely indeed to protect the public. He must let gardai know where he is at all times.”
It is understood the individual has a string of serious sex offences dating back to the early1990s. Sources also say the dangerous individual also attempted to produce and distribute child porn in the past, he has even attempted to film young boys under the pretence of making a movie.
A local source said: “He will always keep trying and trying to re-offend – that’s why the gardai watch him so closely. But they have a good handle on him. “This man has downloaded child porn and is obsessed with boys.”
He is currently under surveillance by specialist officers and local Gardai.
