Dublin Fire Brigade have announced that this year’s Halloween has gone off with a “bang” – a good bang that is in that callout numbers are down and thankfully not too many incidents have been reported.
Ambulance callouts were up, but that’s because Halloween 2020 saw the country still on lockdown.
It’s understood that community organised fireworks displays are the reason behind callouts being down due to the lack of anti-social behaviour and people enjoying themselves in organised settings.
It’s likely that that’s how things will go from now on with more community organised displays being held given this year’s success.
