Dublin Fire Brigade called to put out a car that was a blaze in the city centre this afternoon




Firefighters from Dublin Fire Brigade were called to O’Connell Bridge House on Burgh Quay in the city centre this afternoon after a car was reported to be on fire.

It is understood a from Dublin Fire Brigade arrived on the scene within a matter of minutes and quickly put out the blaze. A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said they received a call at approximately 3pm saying a car was on fire in the area.

They went onto say thankfully nobody was hurt in the incident but it is not yet known what caused the fire.
