Pope Francis has had nothing short of an extraordinary visit to America over the past few days. The popular Pontiff has enjoyed a whirlwind tour of Washington D.C., New York City and now today he arrived in Philadelphia.

The Pope last night had a great night in St. Patrick’s Cathedral and before that, he marked the 9/11 memorial site with a prayer service and laid a white candle on the memorial fountains. Before NYC, he arrived in Washington D.C. where he had a reception in the White House and spoke at Congress.

Today he arrived in Philadelphia where he’s currently at mass in their biggest Cathedral. Tomorrow the Pontiff will be say mass on the “Rocky Balboa” steps in Philadelphia in front of an incredible 1 million people.

One of the most touching moments of his visit happened today in Philadelphia just as he was about to depart. His Fiat car Popemobile was travelling away from the plane when the Pope spotted a little boy in a wheelchair.

Pope Francis immediately asked his security to stop and he promptly jumped out, blessed and kissed the little boy and his parents.
