A large scale murder investigation is under way following the death of a man in Finglas on Monday night.
The man, aged in his 60s, was attacked at a house in Dunsink Green after midnight.
The man was rushed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where sadly he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The area has been preserved awaiting the Garda Technical Bureau.
