
A man was hurt during a robbery in Dublin City Centre and was taken to the hospital immediately, reports The Mirror.
At around 11:20am Wednesday morning, the man, who is in his 40s, was robbed in the centre of Talbot Street in the inner city.
The man was hurt during the startling encounter and ended up lying in a pool of blood.
Astonished bylookers contacted the gardai and an ambulance, both of which showed up fast, reports The Mirror.
It is believed that the man’s wounds are not life-threatening.
The event is being investigated by the Gardai as a robbery; they have made no mention of any suspected violence.
“Gardaà attended the scene of a robbery from a person that occurred on Talbot Street, Dublin 1 this morning Wednesday 24th July, 2024 at approximately 11.20am. A man, aged in his mid-40s was removed from the scene by ambulance and taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment of injuries he received during the incident. His injuries are non-life threatening,” Gardai said, reports The Mirror.
