Dublin is safe, Helen? Man seriously injured in vicious assault in Dublin city centre as Gardai appeal for witnesses




After a severe attack that happened in Dublin’s city centre early this Sunday, the Gardai have appealed for witnesses, reports The Mirror.

in Sunday morning, October 6, just after one in the morning, emergency personnel and guards arrived at the site in Talbot Street, Dublin 1.

When they arrived, they found a man who seemed to have been assaulted and was in his 30s with significant injuries, reports The Mirror.

After being transported to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, the man’s condition is still serious but stable.

A technical assessment of the site has been finished in the hours following the event.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told The Irish Mirror: “Any road users and pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the Talbot Street area between 12:30am and 1:30am to make this footage available to Gardaí. Anyone with information regarding this assault is asked to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01 6668000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station,” reports The Mirror.
