Dublin is safe? Man (30s) arrested over cash-in-transit robbery armed with hammer




A man in his 30s has been arrested in Dublin in connection with an armed robbery of cash in transit that took place on Friday morning, reports Breaking News.

The incident occurred at Cornmarket in Dublin 8 at approximately 6am when the man, armed with a hammer, approached security personnel at a cash machine.

He demanded the contents of the cash box being transported and then fled the scene with it.

The police (Gardaí) later located and arrested the suspect and recovered the entire amount of cash. The man is currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in Dublin, reports Breaking News.
